SUPERIOR MAINTENANCE SERVICES, INC, (SMS) was founded in 1965 by a group of business entrepreneurs headed by Ms. Mila del Sol, a former movie queen of the 40’s and 50’s and her eldest son Jesus “Sonny” R. Tambunting a former janitor in the US and a waiter in Aristocrat Restaurant. The company was born in the light of the urgent need for maintenance and custodial services of superior quality.

Through the years, our company gained prominence by providing the most modern, efficient, and cost-effective janitorial and cleaning services to all our clients, with trained personnel complemented by technologically advanced equipment and supplies. Since our company adheres to the philosophy of “Quality Service Above Self”, SMS gives prime importance to continuous manpower development. SMS ensures strict compliance to the minimum wage law, providing full protection to its employees through timely remittances of all government-mandated benefits. As a result, SMS personnel are well-motivated to meet the various cleaning requirements of our most discriminating clients.

Presently, we hold janitorial service contracts with some 500 long time clients which include shopping malls, banks, embassies, semiconductors and telecommunications, factories, golf course and country clubs, high-rise office buildings, restaurants, and schools.

SMS maintains a tract record in mall housekeeping services. Currently, it serves the largest malls in the country, among them are Trinoma Mall, Alabang Town Center, Alabang Town Cinemas, Trinoma Food Choices, Greenhills Theatre Mall, Greenhills Promenade, Eton Station Mall, Eton Centris Walk, Pavilion Mall, Makati Cinema, SM Malls located in Megamall, Mall of Asia, Makati, Bicutan, Sucat, Southmall, Manila, Dasmarinas Cavite, and Bacoor Cavite. In the past, we also had the privilege of being the only contractor to service the two(2) largest U.S military installations outside the United States at any single time – Clark Air Force Naval Base.

Aside from janitorial and manpower services we also provide office personnel, messengers, drivers, parking attendants, secretaries, merchandisers, factory workers, and other vital positions, SMS manages a group of companies engaged in the exclusive distribution of equipment and cleaning materials, insurance, financing, and landscaping services.

SMS manufactures its own floor polishers, ensuring no equipment downtime. It is also a direct importer of base chemicals for cleaning solutions. Our track record of responsiveness sets SMS apart from other service providers, as attested by long years of contract renewals from the Philippines ’ top corporations
